NYSC ENUGU CELEBRATES ELECTRICITY BREAKTHROUGH
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has expressed gratitude to Mainpower Electricity Distribution Limited (MEDL) for providing 12 hours of electricity daily at the Awgu Orientation Camp in Enugu State. In a statement, NYSC Enugu State Coordinator, Oluwakemi Awolola, highlighted the positive impact of the improved power supply on corps members and camp officials.
Awolola noted that, for the first time in a long while, the camp experienced uninterrupted power supply for over eight hours, marking a significant milestone. She commended MEDL for its commitment to community service and partnership with the NYSC, which has enhanced the camp’s facilities and overall atmosphere.
The NYSC looks forward to continued collaboration with MEDL to further improve the welfare and experience of corps members during their service year.
