Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has provided operational vehicles to members of the State House of Assembly and Judges to enhance their service delivery.
Presenting the vehicles on behalf of the Governor, the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, stated that the lawmakers’ utility vehicles would support their staff and security teams, while the judges received SUVs for improved mobility.
Governor Eno reaffirmed his commitment to intergovernmental collaboration, commending both the legislators and the judiciary for their dedication to the state.
In furtherance of his welfare program for the judiciary, the Governor is set to flag off the construction of a Judges’ Quarters next month. The project will consist of 40 housing units, offering comfortable accommodations with modern amenities to ensure judges can efficiently dispense justice.
House Leader, Hon. Sunday Johnny, expressed gratitude on behalf of the lawmakers, pledging their continued cooperation with the executive. Similarly, the Acting Chief Registrar of the State Judiciary, Affiong Usimkah Esq., thanked the Governor and assured that the judiciary would remain committed to upholding justice and maintaining peace in the state.
