President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to global partnerships in the ongoing fight against terrorism, pledging that Nigeria will continue to engage constructively with world powers to ensure security across its borders.
The president said the government’s anti-terrorism efforts are being reinforced through international cooperation on intelligence sharing, tactical operations, and regional coordination with neighbouring states. He noted that the administration remains focused on addressing both the military and socioeconomic dimensions of insecurity, including poverty and youth unemployment.
Tinubu also stressed that Nigeria’s foreign policy will prioritise engagement over isolation, reflecting the nation’s role as a strategic regional partner. Security analysts view the statement as a reaffirmation of Nigeria’s dual approach — combining strong domestic policy reform with broader diplomatic outreach to achieve long-term stability.
