The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has appointed Ekpeno Gold Etim as the Special Assistant to the Governor on Social Re-orientation, with effect from April 1, 2025.
The announcement was made through a press release signed by Prince Enobong Uwah, the Secretary to the State Government, on March 31, 2025.
The appointment is expected to strengthen the state’s policies on social values, ethical re-orientation, and community engagement, aligning with the administration’s commitment to fostering a responsible and progressive society.
Ekpeno Gold Etim, a well-regarded advocate for social change, is expected to bring experience and innovation to the role, helping to shape public perception and attitudes towards governance, morality, and civic responsibility in Akwa Ibom.
