Governor Umo Eno has approved the immediate release of ₦50 billion to contractors in Akwa Ibom State, with a clear directive for strict monitoring to ensure compliance and accountability.
The Governor gave the instruction during an inspection of the Ibom Model Farm at Ikot Edibon, Nsit Ubium, stressing that every project under his administration must reflect the principles of transparency and performance.
His order highlights the urgency to mobilize contractors during the dry season to sustain the pace of development under the ARISE Agenda. “This is leadership with prudence — less noise but more productivity,” he said.
