GOVERNOR UMO ENO DELIVERS HOME, BUSINESS GRANT TO FAMILY OF EIGHT.

In continuation of his grassroots-focused ARISE Agenda, Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has delivered a fully furnished solar-powered two-bedroom bungalow and a N500,000 business grant to a vulnerable family of eight in Ikot Nya, Nsit Ibom Local Government Area.
Represented by the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Lady Emem Ibanga, the Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to uplifting the vulnerable through sustainable housing and economic empowerment.
The structure includes an external kitchen and solar-powered borehole, and is designed to provide uninterrupted electricity. Special Assistant to the Governor on Humanitarian Services, Elder Nsikanabasi Umoekpo, said the project embodies the Governor’s commitment to dignity in housing.
Chairman of Nsit Ibom, Hon. Otobong Aaron, praised the Governor’s compassion and work ethic, while community leaders including Prof. Ubong Umoh and Hon. Eric Akpan pledged continued support for the Governor’s developmental strides.
Overwhelmed with emotion, beneficiary Mr. Friday Akpan thanked the Governor for a life-changing intervention that had pulled his family out of despair.
