NASFAT DEFENDS JAMB REGISTRAR OLOYEDE OVER UTME GLITCHES, URGES COMPASSION
In response to widespread criticism following the technical failures that marred the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), Islamic group NASFAT has publicly defended JAMB Registrar Prof. Is-haq Oloyede. In a statement titled “To Err Is Human, To Forgive Is Divine,” NASFAT’s Chief Missioner, Imam Abdul-Azeez Onike, described Oloyede as a man of deep integrity who deserves understanding rather than condemnation.
NASFAT emphasized that the glitches were a product of human error, not malice or incompetence, and called on Nigerians to show empathy. The organization cited Oloyede’s decades-long record of public service and urged accountability tempered with mercy, reminding the public that only divine entities are infallible.
