SENATE UNSEALS SENATOR NATASHA’S OFFICE, CLEARS PATH FOR RESUMPTION

The Senate has officially unsealed the office of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, enabling her to resume duties at the National Assembly. Security personnel reopened Office 205 in the Senate wing, granting the lawmaker access after months of restricted entry due to a suspension dispute.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan had been suspended for six months following allegations related to her conduct in the chamber. The unsealing of her office restores her operational capacity and allows her to fully participate in committee meetings, plenary sessions, and other legislative responsibilities.

The National Assembly has confirmed that all security arrangements and administrative protocols have been followed, and the office is now fully functional. Staff and aides have returned to support the senator’s activities, ensuring continuity in her constituency representation and legislative work.
