Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and political leader of Uyo Local Government Area, Prince Enobong Uwah, has hosted a meeting of stakeholders from all wards in Uyo, commending Governor Umo Eno’s commitment to inclusive governance and human capital development.
Addressing the gathering at his residence, Uwah highlighted the Governor’s numerous appointments of Uyo indigenes and the execution of development projects within the local government.
“I want to thank our Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, for all he has done for Uyo. We have witnessed significant improvements, especially in human capital development,” he said.
He urged local contractors to take advantage of the state procurement portal and bid for projects, stressing the importance of active political engagement.
During the meeting, Uwah inaugurated a Needs Assessment Committee, headed by Otuekong Ekerete Ekpenyong, to document the developmental needs of Uyo ahead of the upcoming Federal Constituency Town Hall Meeting.
Stakeholders at the event, including Hon. Monday Eyo and Dr. Uwemedimo Udo, praised the Governor’s transparent leadership style and reaffirmed their support for his administration.
