The Ondo State Police Command has arrested three suspects linked to an attack on members of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) in Ogbese, Ondo State.
The students were ambushed while traveling to Abuja for their annual convention, prompting an urgent police response. According to the police spokesperson, CSP Funmilayo Odunlami, swift intervention helped restore order, and an investigation led to the capture of three suspects.
Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Wilfred Afolabi, assured that those responsible would face the full weight of the law. Meanwhile, NANS leaders have praised the police for their swift action and called for increased security to protect students from similar attacks.
