TINUBU COMMISSIONS NEW FCT INTERCHANGE, HAILS INFRASTRUCTURAL PROGRESS UNDER WIKE

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lauded the transformation of the Federal Capital Territory under the leadership of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, as he commissioned a major road interchange linking Wole Soyinka Way to the Murtala Mohammed Expressway.
The interchange is the 11th of 17 projects earmarked for commissioning to mark the second year of Tinubu’s administration. Speaking through Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Tinubu praised the dynamic progress being made in Abuja, saying, “Even the blind can see the transformation.”
The interchange, a strategic infrastructure designed to ease traffic flow, reduce travel time, and improve connectivity, is part of the administration’s broader “Renewed Hope Agenda.” Tinubu stressed that infrastructure remains the cornerstone of economic revival and social wellbeing.
Wike, in his remarks, explained that the project was initiated in 2020 but completed under Tinubu’s administration, underscoring the president’s policy of completing inherited projects.
The FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, also highlighted that the project testifies to Tinubu’s vision of modernising Abuja into a truly world-class capital city.
