The legal representatives of Adaobi Jenifer Alagwu have issued a strong statement against businessman Tunde Ayeni, accusing him of spreading deliberate misinformation about their client’s marriage and the paternity of their daughter, Omarosa Abimbola Ayeni.
In the statement, Alagwu’s lawyers warned Ayeni and his associates to cease and desist from what they described as a “coordinated smear campaign” against her and the child. They claim that, despite enduring false narratives and defamation for over a year, Alagwu has chosen to remain silent—until now.
According to the legal team, Ayeni’s denials of both the customary marriage and the child’s paternity are baseless, as evidence proving their union and DNA confirmation of his fatherhood have already been presented in court. They insist that Ayeni not only performed traditional marriage rites but also named the child himself, contradicting his recent public stance.
The lawyers emphasized that the court proceedings will expose the truth, urging Ayeni to stop misleading the public. With the next hearing set for March 4, all eyes are on the legal battle as it unfolds.
