Monday Okpebholo, the Governor of Edo State, has replaced his Chief Press Secretary. Former CPS Fred Itua has been relieved of duties.
His successor is Dr. Patrick Ebojele, a journalist, academic and public administrator who was formerly a lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, and also worked at respected media organisations including Channels Television and several national newspapers.
The appointment made official via a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government reflects the administration’s aim to strengthen communication and ensure clearer dissemination of government policy to the public.
This shake-up in the communications team came shortly after the governor swore in 19 commissioners and board members, signaling a broader drive to refresh and reorganize Edo’s governance structures under his administration.
