Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has announced a rapprochement with Senate President Godswill Akpabio, extending an invitation to him to commission various development projects in her Kogi Central constituency.
The gesture marks a public thaw in relations between the senator and Akpabio, who had previously been at odds over political and legal disputes. Natasha’s office said the invitation reflects a renewed spirit of collaboration for the benefit of constituents.
Among the projects slated for commissioning are roads, health centre upgrades, and community infrastructure in Lokoja, Koton Karfe and other localities. The senator pledged to ensure that infrastructure is maximally utilized and maintained.
Akpabio’s response was not immediately publicized, but insiders said his participation would lend gravitas to the events and help heal prior rifts. Political watchers see the development as part of broader reconciliation moves ahead of future elections.
