Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier-General Olakunle Nafiu, has cautioned corps members on the dangers of irresponsible social media use. Speaking during his visit to the NYSC orientation camp in Yikpata, Kwara State, Nafiu emphasized discretion, urging corps members to resolve issues constructively and avoid airing grievances online.
“The consequences of abusing social media can be severe — both now and in the future,” he warned.
He encouraged the 2,290 corps members in camp to embrace discipline, patriotism, and national service. The State Coordinator, Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa, praised the DG’s visit as morale-boosting and vital for sustaining commitment.
