An All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for Ikpoba Okha Local Government Council, Honourable Ikponmwosa Clement Aitusi, has commended Governor Monday Okpebholo for his foresight in initiating the ongoing one-kilometre flyover project in Benin City, describing it as a landmark infrastructural milestone.
Speaking during a site visit, Aitusi said the project being the first of its kind in Edo State would significantly decongest traffic and improve the movement of goods and people across the city.
“The quality and pace of work are impressive. I commend Governor Okpebholo for insisting on concrete technology. Roads built with reinforced concrete last for decades and save public funds in the long run,” Aitusi said.
He noted that the project marks a “new era of development-focused governance” under the APC-led administration, adding that the flyover will enhance business efficiency, especially for residents of Ikpoba Okha and adjoining local councils.
