APC SAYS ONE-PARTY ACCUSATIONS UNFOUNDED, BLAMES WEAK OPPOSITION
All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, has refuted claims that the ruling party is attempting to establish a one-party system in Nigeria. Basiru dismissed allegations that the federal government is using state machinery to suppress opposition voices, stating that the APC is committed to democratic principles.
He criticized the opposition for lacking vibrancy and seriousness, urging them to play their role effectively. Basiru highlighted the APC’s grassroots-focused agenda under Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, emphasizing the party’s efforts to build functional structures in every ward, local government, and state.
