Residents across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have voiced strong approval for the ongoing infrastructure drive spearheaded by Minister Nyesom Wike, describing it as the most comprehensive renewal of the capital’s built environment in recent memory. A letter of commendation signed by the Cabul Network, comprising Abuja-based NYSC service members from across councils, noted that the “Renewed Hope” agenda is now delivering tangible roads, markets and public services.
Projects in Gwagwalada, Kwali and other area councils — including the A2 to Pai Road and the Etsu Road in Gwagwalada — were cited as examples of transformation. Residents said the infrastructure upgrades are reducing travel times, easing business access and improving quality of life. The minister, in response, pledged that the drive would continue and appeal for citizens’ support and vigilance in ensuring sustained development.
