Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has expressed deep admiration for Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, saying he has formally applied to adopt her as his mother figure.
Mutfwang made the remark at a public event in Jos, explaining that his statement was borne out of respect for the First Lady’s humility, compassion, and strong support for women and children. According to him, Senator Tinubu embodies the virtues of motherhood and leadership that inspire him both personally and politically.
The governor’s declaration drew applause from the audience, many of whom saw it as a symbolic gesture of loyalty to the presidency. He reiterated his commitment to working closely with the First Lady’s office on programmes that uplift women, youths, and vulnerable groups in Plateau State.
