Governor Monday Okpebholo has publicly endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reform agenda, saying the policies and strategies being pursued by the federal government are central to national development and will ultimately improve security and economic conditions across Nigeria. Okpebholo made the comments during an interdenominational prayer service at his residence in Irrua, emphasising cooperation with security agencies and calling on Nigerians to support the current administration’s efforts.
Okpebholo highlighted that robust security strategies and coordinated actions under Tinubu’s leadership are already yielding improvements in safety and order in Edo State, contributing to a more conducive environment for economic activity. He appealed for continued prayer and unity, asserting that critics who attempt to distract governance efforts are detracting from progress. The governor reiterated confidence that Tinubu’s policies particularly in security and economic reform will lead to sustained development and prosperity nationwide.
The governor also pointed to visible infrastructure and community safety gains in Edo State as aligned with the broader “Renewed Hope” framework championed by the President, urging residents to remain patient and supportive as reforms deepen and translate into concrete improvements.
