GOVERNOR ENO CELEBRATES PDP CHAIRMAN ANIEKAN AKPAN AND WIFE AT 25TH WEDDING ANNIVERSAR
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, on Sunday joined dignitaries, party faithful, and community leaders at a thanksgiving service in Ukanfun Local Government Area to celebrate the 25th wedding anniversary of the State PDP Chairman, Elder Aniekan Akpan, and his wife, Deaconess Unyime Akpan. Speaking at the event, Governor Eno praised the couple’s enduring commitment to one another, calling their marriage a testament to godly values, discipline, and mutual support.
Governor Eno described Elder Akpan as a loyal political figure whose steadfastness proved crucial during the 2023 elections. He emphasized that the PDP chairman remained firm in the face of political pressures and never betrayed the trust of the party, choosing instead to stand by the people and his convictions. The governor also commended Akpan’s humility and deep connection to his roots, urging him to leverage his influence for the continued development of his home community, particularly the local church.
During the service, Elder Akpan offered heartfelt gratitude to God for guiding his personal and political journey, attributing the success of his marriage and leadership to divine grace and the unwavering support of his wife.
