In a public outburst captured on video by AIT and widely circulated online, Governor Umo Eno issued a stern warning to his commissioners and special advisers, threatening immediate dismissal for anyone found guilty of negligence or insubordination.
The warning follows a recent event where cabinet members failed to follow the Governor to an impromptu engagement, drawing his ire. “You must follow me and return with me. You are my first eleven. This is a full-time job, not part-time,” he declared.
