GOVERNOR UBA SANI VISITS SURVIVORS OF MANGU MOB KILLINGS IN KADUNA MILITARY HOSPITAL

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State on Monday paid a solemn visit to the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna to sympathize with survivors of a violent mob attack in Mangu, Plateau State. The victims, wedding guests from Kaduna, were reportedly ambushed and assaulted, resulting in deaths and severe injuries.
In a statement shared via his verified Facebook page, Governor Sani disclosed that survivors narrated the horror of their experience in Quan Pan LGA where they had gone for a wedding. He pledged the Kaduna State Government’s full support for their treatment, including the provision of psychological counseling to aid trauma recovery and eventual reintegration into society.
“The survivors are responding to treatment, and we are committed to ensuring justice is served,” he said. Governor Sani confirmed that arrests had been made and security agencies were working tirelessly to apprehend the remaining perpetrators. He promised to maintain close oversight of the investigations until justice is delivered.
