JAMB SHIFTS UTME DATE AS EXAM SLIPS GO LIVE FOR PRINTING
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a one-day adjustment in the commencement of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), moving the start date forward from April 25 to April 24.
The decision was revealed in a statement issued by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, who explained that the change accommodates logistical alignments between the Board and its partner agencies. The statement also announced that candidates can now print their examination Notification Slips from the JAMB website starting Saturday, April 19.
The slip contains essential details, including each candidate’s examination centre, date, time, and instructions necessary for a smooth examination experience. JAMB urged all candidates to print the slips early to make timely arrangements for transportation and logistics.
The Board warned that no candidate would be posted outside their chosen examination town and advised students to familiarize themselves with their test centres ahead of time. This year’s examination is expected to see increased participation following a spike in tertiary institution applications nationwide.
