A Lagos Special Offences Court has granted Jude Okoye, former manager of P-Square, bail in his ongoing trial for alleged financial misconduct involving over $1 million and £34,000.
Justice Rahman Oshodi set bail at N50 million with two sureties, who must reside within the jurisdiction and show proof of tax payments. Okoye was also ordered to surrender his Nigerian and St. Kitts and Nevis passports, while the EFCC was instructed to prevent him from leaving the country.
The EFCC opposed bail, citing his dual citizenship as a flight risk, but the court ruled in his favor. The case has been adjourned to May 16 and 23, 2025.
