Thousands of constituents in Kogi Central have thrown their support behind the ongoing recall process for their suspended Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
The Kogi Central Grassroots Movement, representing over 10,000 constituents, declared that Natasha’s time in the Senate was a mistake that needed to be corrected.
In a statement signed by Coordinator AbdulHameed Jimoh and Secretary Mohammed Abdullahi, they accused the Senator’s camp of spreading falsehoods to derail the process.
“She went to the National Assembly to pursue her personal interest, not the interest of Kogi Central,” they stated.
They also alleged that Natasha had embarrassed Nigeria internationally by taking her grievances to the UN and Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
“The recall process is necessary to restore the integrity of Kogi Central’s representation,” the group asserted.
