Work on the highly anticipated Lagos Arena, a 12,000-seat indoor sports and entertainment complex located in Lekki, is progressing steadily, with a December 2025 completion date firmly on track.
The arena, backed by the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) and key private partners, is expected to transform Lagos into a major West African hub for sporting events, music concerts, and indoor championships.
Project engineers confirmed that 65% of structural work has been completed, with seating, LED display, and retractable roof installations scheduled for the third quarter of the year.
Once completed, the Lagos Arena will rival world-class venues across Africa and is being touted as a future host for AfroBasket, All Africa Games indoor events, and continental volleyball and wrestling tournaments.
