The newly appointed National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has vowed to deliver a sweeping electoral victory for President Tinubu and APC candidates at all levels in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a solidarity visit by the APC League of Professionals, Yilwatda cited the Renewed Hope Agenda as a blueprint for transformation and empowerment.
“We now have a system where the child of the poorest Nigerian can attend university without borrowing. There is ₦1.5 billion in the Bank of Agriculture for youth farmers. This has never happened in our history,” Yilwatda stated.
He reaffirmed that the party’s manifesto is youth-focused, and expressed confidence that the APC will consolidate gains from the Tinubu administration by mobilising grassroots and elite support alike.
APC stakeholders have lauded Yilwatda’s leadership experience, expressing optimism that his appointment marks a strategic moment for party repositioning.
