OKPEBHOLO HOLDS SECURITY SUMMIT IN EDO NORTH, VOWS TO CRUSH CRIMINALS
Governor Monday Okpebholo has pledged a firm crackdown on criminal elements operating in Edo North, asserting that no criminal would succeed in destabilizing the state under his watch. The Governor made the declaration during a high-level security summit held at the country home of Senator Adams Oshiomhole.
The meeting drew traditional rulers, religious leaders, security agency heads, and political stakeholders from across Edo North. Speaking at the forum, Okpebholo was clear about his administration’s zero-tolerance approach to insecurity.
“Under my watch, criminal elements will not succeed in destabilizing Edo State. I will deal with them decisively and make the state uninhabitable for their activities,” he vowed.
Senator Oshiomhole praised the Governor’s commitment to public safety, noting that confidence in state leadership was growing. Traditional ruler HRH Mallam Ali Suleiman also said the meeting had boosted the morale of traditional institutions, who were ready to work hand-in-hand with security agencies to restore peace.
