The Nigeria Police Force has extended the deadline for enforcement of the Tinted Glass Permit policy to August 12, 2025. The extension followed public concerns over the application process and readiness of the system. The announcement was made by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
The police confirmed that the digital application system was undergoing improvements to enhance security, user access, and processing time. Citizens were advised to apply only through the official platform and report any cases of extortion or unauthorised charges. The force reiterated its commitment to providing a transparent and efficient service while enforcing the new permit policy.
