PRESIDENCY FINALIZES MINISTERIAL SCORECARDS AHEAD OF TINUBU’S SECOND YEAR
President Tinubu’s second anniversary in office fast approaching, the Central Results Delivery and Coordination Unit (CDCU) is finalizing a comprehensive review of all ministries, providing a performance snapshot for Q1 2025.
Led by Hadiza Bala-Usman, the CDCU is cross-verifying ministerial submissions based on documented project completions, policy delivery, and KPI benchmarks. Inside sources revealed that only a few ministers exceeded expectations, while others face scrutiny for mediocre or underwhelming performance.
These evaluations may guide future cabinet reshuffles as Tinubu nears the midpoint of his tenure. The reviews are part of the quarterly accountability structure Tinubu introduced in 2023, where he declared that “the buck stops with me.”
A similar evaluation last October led to the dismissal of two ministers and portfolio reassignments. The upcoming report will offer a decisive look at who remains in Tinubu’s trusted circle going forward.
