Actress and influencer Temi Otedola has explained why she abandoned her maiden surname and adopted “Ajibade” following her marriage to singer Mr Eazi.
In a recent interview with the BBC, Temi said the decision was personal and natural: “I’m now a married woman, so taking my husband’s name felt obvious to me,” she stated, while also affirming respect for women who choose otherwise. She also emphasized that maintaining privacy in her relationship allows her control over what details to share publicly.
Reflecting on her background, Temi acknowledged the privileges she inherited as daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, but noted her father deliberately kept her and her siblings out of his business dealings to challenge them to forge their own paths.
