TINUBU VOWS TO CONSOLIDATE BUHARI’S REFORMS, HONOURS FORMER PRESIDENT AT GARBA SHEHU’S BOOK LAUNCH

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated his administration’s commitment to sustaining and strengthening the reform legacies of his predecessor, President Muhammadu Buhari, while unveiling a new book by Buhari’s former spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu.
Represented by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, Tinubu said, “The efforts of one administration lay the foundation for the next. We are consolidating the reforms of President Buhari under the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
The book, According to the President: Lessons from a Presidential Spokesman’s Experience, was launched in Abuja on Wednesday July 9th and attracted a wide array of dignitaries including former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon; former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; and former SGF Boss Mustapha.
Gowon praised Buhari for “forthright leadership” in tackling Nigeria’s security and economic crises, while Osinbajo commended Shehu’s professionalism as a government communicator. Shehu described the book as a resource for scholars, communicators, and policy makers, chronicling the inner workings of Buhari’s presidency from 2015 to 2023.
