Ukraine has accused Russia of systematically abducting tens of thousands of Ukrainian children since the war began, forcing them into re-education camps in Russia. Daria Zarivna, a top advisor to President Volodymyr Zelensky, claims these children are subjected to pro-Kremlin indoctrination and military training, stripping them of their Ukrainian identity.
Kyiv has made the children’s return a key condition in any future peace talks, while international pressure mounts for action against Russia. The International Criminal Court has already issued arrest warrants for Russian officials linked to the alleged abductions. However, with Moscow denying the claims, the fate of these children remains uncertain.
