YOBE LAWMAKER UNVEILS NEW SCHOOL PROJECT TO REJUVENATE EDUCATION

In a renewed push to tackle the infrastructural decay in Yobe’s public schools, Hon. Muhammad Jajere, member representing Fika/Fune federal constituency, has commissioned a newly constructed six-classroom block at the historic Gadaka Community School in Fika Local Government Area.
The lawmaker, elected on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), said the intervention was necessary due to the school’s decline after years of neglect and vandalism. Jajere said education remains the backbone of national progress and pledged to continue prioritising projects in that sector.
“The newly structured, well-equipped classrooms are part of my commitment to revitalising the school’s legacy and reaffirming that education remains the cornerstone of a progressive society,” Jajere said.
Community leaders lauded the gesture, describing the project as a timely intervention that would improve learning conditions for hundreds of children in the area. Jajere also promised to initiate more development projects across the constituency to bridge infrastructure gaps.
