Royal Air Maroc has announced a major increase in flight capacity ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, introducing 32 special flights to support Moroccan fans travelling to cheer the national team, the Morocco national football team.
The additional services will operate between June 13 and June 27, connecting Casablanca with key U.S. host cities including New York, Boston, and for the first time, Atlanta. These cities are among the venues where Morocco will play its group-stage matches during the tournament.
The airline says the expansion will provide more than 8,800 extra seats to meet rising demand as supporters prepare for the global football event jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Royal Air Maroc confirmed that the operation will be supported by wide-body aircraft and additional staff deployment to manage the expected surge in passenger traffic and ensure smooth travel operations during the busy World Cup period.
To make travel more accessible, the airline has also introduced a fixed round-trip economy fare of around 920 euros for fans travelling to the tournament.
Tickets for the special flights will go on sale from May 20 through the airline’s official booking channels, including its agencies and a dedicated online platform.
The move is expected to ease travel pressure while boosting fan participation as Morocco prepares for one of its biggest international football appearances on the global stage.
