Dangote Refinery Cuts Petrol Price

Dangote Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), lowering it from N890 to N825 per litre. The refinery management disclosed the price cut on Wednesday, attributing it to efforts to ease financial burdens on Nigerians ahead of Ramadan while supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic recovery agenda.

This marks the second major price reduction in recent months, following a December 2024 cut from N970 to N899.50 per litre.

Retail prices will vary by region, with MRS Holdings stations selling at N860 per litre in Lagos, N870 in the South-West, N880 in the North, and N890 in the South-South and South-East.
