Former presidential candidate and political strategist, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has called on the Federal Government to act swiftly to curb rising killings across the country.
In a statement on Tuesday September 30th, Olawepo-Hashim expressed concern over the frequency of violent attacks in rural and urban communities, saying the trend threatens national unity and economic progress. He urged security agencies to be better equipped, more coordinated, an
d proactive in tackling criminal groups.
Olawepo-Hashim emphasized that Nigerians deserve to live in safety regardless of their location, religion, or ethnicity. He appealed to political leaders at all levels to prioritize human security as a foundation for sustainable development.
