In the midst of the Action Alliance (AA) internal crisis, Raji Udeze, a prominent member of the party, has stated that there is no court order demanding the arrest of former INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakubu.
Udeze’s clarification comes in response to accusations circulated within AA that Yakubu was facing legal action tied to internal disputes. He affirmed that unless a valid court warrant is issued and served, any claims of arrest are mere rumors.
The AA has been embroiled in factional tensions over leadership struggles, with different groups making conflicting claims about control of party structures. Udeze urged members to exercise restraint, adhere to due process, and resolve disputes internally rather than resorting to sensational claims.
