Edo State Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Hon. Chris Nehikhare, has called for stronger policy collaboration among government ministries, departments, and agencies to ensure coherence in the implementation of development plans across the state.
Speaking during a consultative meeting with policy stakeholders in Benin City, Nehikhare stressed that effective communication and coordination are vital to delivering sustainable progress and maintaining public trust in governance.
He noted that policy synergy reduces duplication of efforts and enhances the overall impact of government programs, adding that transparent communication helps the public better understand and support government initiatives.
The Commissioner urged all agencies to align their activities with the broader vision of Governor Obaseki’s administration, which focuses on innovation, inclusivity, and institutional reform as drivers of long-term growth.
