Edo State Holds Quarter three Data Review and 2026 Workplan Development Retreat

The Edo State Government has commenced its Quarter Three Data Review and 2026 Workplan Development Retreat for the Edo IMPACT Project, aimed at evaluating ongoing programs and designing strategies for improved outcomes across key sectors.

Declaring the retreat open in Benin City, Commissioner for Budget, Planning, and Economic Development, Hon. Osasere Evbuomwan, commended ministries and agencies for their dedication to evidence-based planning and results-oriented governance.

He explained that the retreat will provide a platform for cross-sector collaboration, data harmonization, and performance assessment to strengthen the delivery of government priorities.

Evbuomwan urged participants to identify gaps and adopt innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in project implementation. “Reliable data is the backbone of effective planning and policy execution. Our goal is to ensure every decision we make is informed by facts,” he said.
