Governor Monday Okpebholo has said that his administration has successfully restored public confidence in the state’s security architecture through collaborative efforts with security agencies and community stakeholders.
Speaking in Benin City, the Governor highlighted that the revitalization of the state’s joint security task force, coupled with increased surveillance and intelligence sharing, has drastically reduced crime rates across urban and rural areas.
He noted that the government’s investments in technology-driven security tools and patrol logistics have strengthened the state’s rapid response capacity, particularly in combating kidnapping and land-related violence.
Governor Okpebholo assured residents that his administration remains fully committed to sustaining peace and security, which he described as the foundation of Edo’s socio-economic recovery and growth.
