ONOH ACCUSES IPOB SABOTAGING NNAMDI KANU’S FREEDOM WITH THREATS

Denge Josef Onoh, former Southeast spokesman for President Bola Tinubu, has criticized the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for issuing threats that may interfere with the ongoing efforts to secure the release of Nnamdi Kanu. Onoh stated that such threats could undermine dialogue initiatives and complicate legal proceedings aimed at resolving Kanu’s detention.

He warned that the aggressive stance adopted by certain IPOB elements could alienate stakeholders who are supportive of peaceful resolution strategies. Onoh called for restraint and encouraged the group to avoid actions that might escalate tension in the region.

Authorities have been monitoring IPOB activities closely, and law enforcement agencies are urging citizens to report any threats or suspicious activities linked to the group. Security operatives have assured the public of their commitment to maintaining order while ensuring that ongoing legal processes are not obstructed.
