The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) convened an emergency meeting today in Abuja to address the escalating feud over the position of National Secretary.
The meeting, held at Transcorp Hilton instead of the party’s National Secretariat due to security concerns, aims to mediate the conflict between supporters of Samuel Anyanwu and Sunday Ude-Okoye, both claiming the role.
A party insider disclosed that neither Anyanwu nor Ude-Okoye was invited to the meeting, as tensions remain unresolved.
Today’s discussions are expected to determine the way forward as the party seeks to stabilize its leadership structure.
