Abuja, Nigeria — Papyrus Global, publishers of Papyrus Magazine, has reaffirmed its standing as Africa’s foremost organisation dedicated to recognizing legislative excellence, as preparations intensify for the 5th Edition of the Papyrus Magazine Most Outstanding Lawmakers Awards (PAMOLAA).The prestigious continental event, which has become a hallmark of honour and recognition for outstanding legislative performance, is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at The Palms Hotel, Central Business District, Abuja, Nigeria.
According to Doofan Justin Damsa of Papyrus Global, the selection and verification process for this year’s edition is currently underway. The 2025 awards will feature lawmakers from Zambia, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Namibia, Mali, Ethiopia, and Nigeria, the host country.
Each participating country is expected to produce five (5) recipients, representing excellence in various categories of legislative service.
The award categories for this year’s edition include:
Best Performing Senator/Member/MP in Constituency Projects and Outreach
Most Vocal or Eloquent Senator/Member/MP
Best Performing Senator/Member/MP with the Most Impactful Bills
Best Performing Senator/Member/MP with People-Serving Motions
Best Performing Senator/Member/MP Committee Chairman
Most Effective Committee
