A woman has taken to Facebook to express her frustration over a church sermon that she claims drastically changed her husband’s attitude toward her.
According to her post, her pastor preached about the importance of wives being gentle and careful when speaking to their husbands, advising women to massage their husbands’ egos before expressing opinions.
However, after hearing the message, her husband allegedly became dismissive and unhelpful, using the sermon as an excuse to withdraw from household responsibilities. She recounted an incident in which he was carrying their five-month-old baby at church but immediately handed the child over to her when the sermon was preached, despite her being occupied with church duties.
She noted that his behavior has since become worse, and he remains angry over a minor disagreement they had before leaving for church.
Now, she is contemplating changing her place of worship, as she believes the message negatively influenced her husband’s attitude toward her.
