Governor Umo Eno has urged the Akwa Esop Imaisong Ibibio to continue fostering unity,
love, and inclusivity in Akwa Ibom State.
He made the call at the installation of Ntisong IV, Obong Pius James Okon, and the 44th-anniversary celebration of the socio-cultural organization at the Asan Ibibio, Uyo.
The governor highlighted that the Ibibio State Union, the group’s predecessor, was built on unity, and that tribal divisions should have no place in governance.
“In Akwa Ibom, there is no Ibibio, Annang, or Oro Agenda—there is only one agenda: The Akwa Ibom Agenda,” he stated.
Governor Eno presented a brand-new Prado SUV to the newly installed Ntisong IV to support his leadership efforts.
The event was attended by notable figures, including former Governor Udom Emmanuel, who reaffirmed the importance of Ibibio cultural values and unity.
