DAVIDO PRAISES GOVERNOR ADELEKE AS ‘BEST OSUN GOVERNOR EVER’
Award-winning Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has declared that his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, is the best leader the state has ever had. The statement was made during a lively conversation on Culture Knock Out (CKO), a show hosted by Chris and Baloo, where Davido opened up about the public perception of his uncle and his political journey.
Describing Governor Adeleke as a “real vibe,” Davido recalled how many people initially mocked the governor’s penchant for dancing and dismissed him as unserious. “He is the last born of my dad’s family. They never believed that he would become a governor,” he said. However, he argued that the governor’s record in office has surprised many and proved his critics wrong. “Just because somebody likes to dance and have a good time, it doesn’t mean when it is time to work, he won’t,” Davido added.
Since assuming office, Governor Adeleke has launched various developmental projects, including road rehabilitation, teacher recruitment, and youth empowerment initiatives. Davido’s endorsement carries weight, given his large following and deep roots in Osun State politics and culture.
