The President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod, has congratulated the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) women’s volleyball team for their dominant performance at the 2025 Super Volleyball Championship, held in Accra, Ghana. The Customs women secured a convincing 3‑0 win over the Ghana Air Force, with set scores of 25–20, 25–23, and 25–14, underscoring their competitiveness and tactical strength.
In a celebratory message, Nimrod praised not only the players but also the technical staff and management of the Customs team for their discipline, resilience, and unwavering commitment to excellence. He said their performance raised Nigeria’s profile in African women’s volleyball and demonstrated the depth of talent available in the country.
He also commended the leadership of the Customs Service, particularly Comptroller-General Adewale Adeniyi (MFR), for consistently investing in volleyball development. Nimrod highlighted that the Customs‑sponsored Premier League has become a key development pathway for top-level volleyball players in Nigeria.
Looking ahead, Nimrod urged the Customs women’s team to sustain their winning momentum, remain focused and continue representing Nigeria on regional and continental stages with pride.
