Senator Ngwu has publicly extended his condolences to former Minister Abba Moro following the tragic deaths of the minister’s son and grandson. In a statement issued from the Senate, Ngwu expressed deep sympathy and described the loss as “immensely painful” for the Moro family and for those who know them.
The senator said he visited the bereaved family to offer personal condolences and to stand with them in prayer, while urging communities and faith leaders to provide emotional support during the mourning period. He also called for patience and solidarity as the family makes funeral arrangements and sought to respect their privacy.
Colleagues in the Senate joined in offering messages of comfort, and church and community leaders were reported to have rallied around the family to assist with burial rites. The government pledged to provide any necessary logistical support to ensure dignified final rites.
